Europe is a melting pot of both culinary and cultural discoveries.
Nick and I are lucky to be able to spend an extended time in Europe in 2017. We will visit my family in my home town in Germany as well as extended family across the country. We’re also planning on a couple of ‘weekend road trips’ to Italy or maybe England.
HomeToGo, a search engine for holiday rentals, along with GoEuro created a ranking of the 100 best cities to visit in Europe in 2017. London happens to be the #1 city in the ‘Weekend Trips: Things To Do & See’ category. With plenty of cultural attractions, museums, and shopping, London is the perfect place to visit. I always wanted to try a ploughman’s lunch.

Data from more than 2,000 European cities was analyzed to construct this list of the top 100 European cities to visit in 2017. The nightlife rankings include results from GoEuro’s Beer Price Index which calculates the most affordable cities to buy a beer.
This data was then combined with Go Euro’s Fun City Index which ranks cities on amount of bars/clubs and general open hours. HomeToGo constructed the Accommodation Index which is made from amount of accommodation available in each city with the average price per night.
