Summerville SC In The Fall

Early fall photo tour of downtown Summerville, SC.

It was a beautiful day here in Summerville South Carolina, especially for being early Fall. Nick and I took some time to relax and to take pictures while walking around downtown Summerville, SC, for a while.

Summerville is just north of Charleston, SC, about 20 minutes by car from downtown Charleston. We have lived in here for the past 3+ months now and have enjoyed the friendly people with their southern hospitality and the fun atmosphere of this town.

Nick, Silke and Lily - Summerville SC

Nick, Silke and Lily stopped at a small coffee shop on Main street and just simply enjoyed a quiet Sunday afternoon together. A Sunday in downtown Summerville, SC, is peaceful and very pleasant!

We took the following pictures of downtown Summerville SC on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013.

This will be our first fall and winter season living in a Southern state like South Carolina.

It is going to be very strange for us, I think. The leaves up north are starting to turn color now and both Nick and I are looking forward to a road trip back to Minnesota and South Dakota in about a month from now. We will be sure to take a break from visiting family and friends to take lots of Nature shots there as well.
