For the love of Fall in Minnesota my camera is always by my side.
Like most Minnesotan, the fall season is my absolute favorite. After a muggy summer with about a trillion mosquitoes flying around everyone is in anticipation for cooler weather. During Fall in Minnesota the air clears up, making everything look crisp and bright, and the leaves on the trees are starting to turn into their brilliant fall colors.
My Kodak Easyshare camera was a gift from Silke a few years back. It is small, easy to use and takes beautiful photos of fall foliage. The working gloves picture below is one of my favorites. We took it during a break from chopping wood for my parents farm.
To help kick off tomorrow being October 1st already, I’ve collected a few photos that would help set the tone for the season. I wouldn’t do this for all the different seasons, but Fall has always been my favorite.
Fall in Minnesota has a lot of beautiful scenery so I find myself carrying my camera all the time.
The camera I used for the fall photos was a Kodak EasyShare M853. This compact digital camera was given to me by my wife Silke a couple of years ago. I have taken the camera with me on all of our travel destinations. Take a look at another photo article when we were in South Carolina for the Fall
I’ve always been very impressed with the pictures my Kodak camera takes.
Something about Fall in Minnesota quite literally transcends all your senses.
The crispness of the air. The unmatched imagery that only nature can provide. This kinetic energy that offers a renewed sense of purpose. The sounds of leaves blowing off the trees adds only a reminder of what is yet to come.

I love the picture of the his and her work gloves. Where did you take it?
Silke and I were cutting wood out at my parents place by Long Prairie, Minnesota. It was my intent to take some shots of the fall colors while we were out their. I set my gloves down and placed this leaf on the log to shoot it. Silke saw my gloves laying by the leaf and quickly placed hers on the other side. It was one of those impromptu situations that help create something more then what I had originally intended.
