AÂ battery operated milk frother is quick, and small enough to take with you when traveling.
We love drinking frothy coffee drinks, in the morning, later in the afternoon or with dinner. Sometimes even drink coffee at night, when a nice cup of tea just doesn’t cut it. A couple of years ago we went ahead and purchased a Krups Espresso machine, since we didn’t want to pay exuberant coffee house prices any longer.
We still use our espresso machine on a regular basis but the attached frother is very noisy, plus it takes about 2 minutes to get the milk frothy. Pretty annoying, especially at night time!
Let me introduce you to our latest little gadget, the stainless steel Milk Frother by Zenpro.
This is our favorite electric kitchen tool right now. It’s small, light weight, very quiet and makes perfect milk foam every time, in just seconds.
If you love fancy coffee drinks but don’t have a milk steamer, espresso machine, or the time and know-how to whisk milk by hand, a travel ready milk frother is the best thing to have. It doesn’t make an authentic Latte but it’s a nice, quick way to jazz up a cup of good, strong coffee.
Take a look at this video of Nick using the milk frother:
The Zenpro milk frother is compact and easy to store.
It does a wonderful job at foaming warm or cold milk while also mixing in sugar, liquid flavors, and spices like cinnamon or nutmeg. Please Note: After we recorded the video we experimented some more and realized that the froth stays stiff for a lot longer if you froth cold milk and then microwave it for about 30 – 45 seconds.
Simply place the round frother whip at the bottom of the cup, then flip it on high to add body to the milk. After a few seconds slowly move the whip closer to the top of the milk to produce a nice foam. From there, just add your coffee or tea, and voila, your latte is ready. The Zenpro milk frother is also great for whipping eggs for a perfect omelette or making freshly whipped cream to top your favorite slice of coffee cake.
Another great advantage of having a hand-held frother is the easy clean-up. About half the time Nick uses the espresso machine he will forget to wipe the frothing nozzle and the milk will get burnt on. It’s very hard to scrub burned milk off a steal nozzle, believe me. I usually end up scraping it off with a knife. Anyway, with the Zenpro frother you just hold the whipping part under hot tap water and turn it on for a second or two. Easy peasy, I bet even Nick can remember that. ;
Whenever we house sit we always miss having our daily frothy coffee drinks.
Yes, I will admit it, we are both caffeine addicts. Now we can bring our little milk frother along and enjoy a nice cup of Latte wherever we go. Save money (available on Amazon) and calories by making your own mocha, lattes and other coffee drinks right at home.
