Top the shells with more sauce and remaining cheeses before baking

At the time I took these recipe pictures, I substituted the marinara sauce with Emeril’s all natural Vodka sauce. YUM! After baking the Cheesy Jumbo Shells for 30 minutes we placed the dish under the broiler for an additional three minutes to brown the top.

Serve this tasty, cheesy Italian dish with a mixed green salad topped with Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette and a nice glass of wine of your choice. Bon appetite!

  • Hi Lisa, there are about 16 jumbo shells in a 12 oz. package. The regular service size is 2 shells, if you want to allow 3 shells per person than you need 120 shells and you should use 7.5 packages of shells. So, yes multiplying by 8 sounds right to me.
Above I’m saying we are only using 1/2 a package of shells, but I’m second guessing myself now (it might be a typo and I’m going to double check this when I get home). Hope this makes sense.

  • There’s nothing better than pasta, tomato sauce and cheese. This recipe is 5 stars in my book!
