We complimented this healthy crab cake meal with french fries sprinkled with seasoned salt, green leaf lettuce drizzled with Balsamic Vinaigrette and a glass of crisp white wine. This offered just the right balance to the sweet and slightly spicy crab patties.

  • Isn’t cayenne pepper the same a red pepper? You call for both in your simple crab cake recipe.

    • Hi Annette, You are absolutely correct, cayenne and red pepper are the same! The red pepper in this recipe is supposed to be paprika. I am very sorry for the mistake and have updated the recipe. Thank you for noticing and bringing it to my attention. – Silke
