How To Make Spaghetti Squash
Spaghetti Squash is a favorite side dish any time of year!
You can cook spaghetti squash in different ways, you can either cut it up or cook it whole. You can make delicious squash dishes by baking, boiling, microwaving, or even slow-cooking it in a crock pot.

Step by step photo directions for no fuss baked Spaghetti Squash:
Hold the squash firmly with one hand and use a large kitchen knife to cut it in half lengthwise.
Remove the seeds and stringy stuff with a large spoon, scraping along the bottom of the squash.
Add brown sugar into each spaghetti squash half. About 1/8 to 1/4 cup of brown sugar is plenty, depending on the size of your squash and your taste.
Next add a tablespoon of butter to each squash half.
Place the two pieces (with the holes up) into a large baking dish.
Cover your squash tightly with aluminum foil and bake in a 375 degree oven for about 40 minutes or until the flesh is soft.
The squash is done baking when you can easily separate the flesh from the skin with a fork.
Carefully hold one half of the squash with a hot pad or silicone glove. Pour the butter and brown sugar mixture into a large service dish, repeat with the other half.
Use a fork to scrape out the cooked squash into the dish. Be careful not to burn yourself!
Repeat the process with the other half of the squash.
Season your baked spaghetti squash to taste with a dash of sea salt and black pepper.

- Cut squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds
- Place squash cut side down in a baking dish with 1/2 cup of water
- Cover with plastic wrap
- Cook on high 8 – 10 minutes
- Remove spaghetti like strands with a fork
- Drizzle with brown sugar and melted butter
- Add a dash of sea salt and freshly ground pepper
