Silke and I have decided to take the Jager Foods website to another level. Up until now, any editing to the site had to be done at the office. With the WordPress site we will be able to edit it on the go.
The other weekend we were in Fargo at a small coffee shop in the downtown area. The ‘Atomic Cafe’ had a small conference room in the back and was hosting a beer tasting event from a local brewery. It was all very impressive. What would have made it more interesting was to write a blog about it on her laptop, snap a few pictures with the guys handing out the beer and instantly uploaded it to the Jager Foods website. The coffee shop had computers set up for everyone to browse inside and they could have read it on the fly.
It will be nice to be able to write blogs while we travel and post them right away. In the past we would come home with pictures and ideas for articles but then put it off because of time constraints (i.e. getting it all together and bringing it to the office). With our new site we will be able to bring it all together in a day.
This is a work in progress and we will be adding new things as we go. Remember, we are always open to constructive critisism.
From the About Us page at WordPress:
WordPress started in 2003 with a single bit of code to enhance the typography of everyday writing and with fewer users than you can count on your fingers and toes. Since then it has grown to be the largest self-hosted blogging tool in the world, used on millions of sites and seen by tens of millions of people every day.
