To help kick off the month of November, Bottle Lamp is giving away a $25.00 gift card to Applebee’s. To enter the give away all you have to do is leave a comment on the web site and you’ll automatically be entered.

The Bottle-Lamp.com web site

Bottle-Lamp.com is a website devoted to the art of recycling throw away empty bottles into lamps and accent pieces for your home. Through an e-book and video demonstrations, the reader is able to complete the DIY projects on their own. Aside from informative instructions, the web site also showcases the art work submitted by the readers themselves.

This giveaway ends November 9th, so hurry up and enter now!

The Bottle Lamp project started out as a comment made by Nick to Silke, while they were touring a craft show. Coming upon a lighted wine bottle, Nick made the comment, “I could do that!” Long story short, Silke held it to him. The first one was given as a gift and the video followed. Once the popularity of the video became evident, the e-book and website followed.

“It’s been a whirlwind ten months but we’ve enjoyed the ride so far and look forward to sharing more of the projects that our readers put together.”

I just found your video on YouTube, and am anxious to try making my own wine bottle lamp.

Your bottle lamps are AWESOME!!!! I was actually researching a different type of bottle lamp but these look really fun and easy. I think I will have my daughter to help me make some of these and sell them as a fundraiser to help her go on a People to People Student Ambassador trip :-)

  3. Thanks for a very clean, descriptive and complete demo. I am interested in making bottle lamps. Can you tell me where to find the “crystal fill” in the video? What name is it sold as?
    Thanks so much.
