The Bottle Lamp project started out as a comment made by Nick to Silke, while they were touring a craft show. Coming upon a lighted wine bottle, Nick made the comment, “I could do that!” Long story short, Silke held it to him. The first one was given as a gift and the video followed. Once the popularity of the video became evident, the e-book and website followed.

I just found your video on YouTube, and am anxious to try making my own wine bottle lamp.
Your bottle lamps are AWESOME!!!! I was actually researching a different type of bottle lamp but these look really fun and easy. I think I will have my daughter to help me make some of these and sell them as a fundraiser to help her go on a People to People Student Ambassador trip
