  • Oh my, I haven’t been on your site for a while. I didn’t know you guys where house sitting in a different country? How do you find a gig like this? This looks like a beautiful place to be. Good for you! :)

    • Anita,

Thank you and thanks for stopping by again! Silke and I have been house sitting for awhile now and just recently started pursuing it on a more full time basis. We are listed on the Luxury House Sitting website. You can learn more on our House Sitting Tips page as well.

  • How many people can stay in the resort at any given time? Maximum occupancy. Just crunching the numbers.
Looks very warm an inviting. I bet you guys are having a blast.

    • Between the main house and the cabanas I would say that you could comfortably sleep ten adults. This is not taking in the workers lodge that sits behind both of the main buildings.
We’ve been kayaking lately and enjoy the scenery as well as the work outs that it provides. If you’re in the area feel free to stop by and we’ll show you around the property.

  • How’s the fishing in the area?

  • The fishing is awesome here in Belize! We just caught a Red Grouper, a hug Wahoo and a nice sized Makerel.

  • How firm is the price?

  • What is the selling price?

    • Hi Brenda, the price the owners have on their website still states around $400,000. It’s been on the market for a while now and they are very motivated to sell so I would think they are willing to come down quite a ways. Throw them an offer :)
      Her email is: steppingstones.sue@gmail.com

      Good Luck!

  • The owners stripped this property and are selling the land. Presumably with the building shells still haunting the land. Sad. We would have purchased it had they gone down to a reasonable-ish price.

    • That is very sad, we always thought the property was priced too high. It was a very nice property in its day, but the dock and buildings were already starting to fall apart when we were there. Thank you for the update!
