Feeling the Fall Season

For the love of Fall my trusty Kodak easyshare camera is always by my side.

This camera is small, easy to use and takes beautiful photos of fall foilage.

To help kick off tomorrow being October 1st already, I’ve collected a few photos that would help set the tone for the season. I wouldn’t do this for all the different seasons, but Fall is always been my favorite. Minnesota has a lot of scenery to take in so I find myself carrying the camera with me all the time. The camera is a Kodak EasyShare M853 digital that Silke bought for me a couple years ago. It’s been off with us to all our destinations and I’ve always been impressed with the pictures that it takes.

Theres something about Fall that quite literally transcends all your senses. The crispness of the air. The unmatched imagery that only nature can provide. This kinetic energy that offers a renewed sense of purpose. The sounds of leaves blowing off the trees adds only a reminder of what is yet to come.

The Fall season has also come to symbolize the return of school classes, the beginning of another football season that offers all the hope of greater glory, and probably the most obvious in Minnesota is the beginning of hunting season.

Whatever you’re busy with this time of year, its imperative that you take a moment to take in this time of year. Just like you spent time this summer at the beach, taking in the sun, enjoy what this season has to offer as well. A little fresh air just might cure what ails you.

What is your favorite season? Share it with us and give it a plug.

I love the picture of the his and her work gloves. Where did you take it?

Silke and I were cutting wood out at my parents place by Long Prairie, Minnesota. It was my intent to take some shots of the fall colors while we were out their. I set my gloves down and placed this leaf on the log to shoot it. Silke saw my gloves laying by the leaf and quickly placed hers on the other side. It was one of those impromptu situations that help create something more then what I had originally intended.
